Rt 28 Traffic Cameras

These cameras depict the traffic flow along PA Route 28 from the Veteran’s Bridge (I–579) to Fox Chapel. The information has limited utility unless you are traveling along the north shore of the Allegheny River between downtown Pittsburgh and its northeastern suburbs.

All camera feeds are from PennDOT.

Notes on Stream Loss

Feeds currently receiving errors from the PennDOT servers are indicated by “Stream Loss” frames. These problems are usually due to transient network issues and may often be resolved by refreshing the image display. PennDOT provides it's own “No live camera feed at this time” frame if the camera outage is of longer duration.

Notes on Camera Orientation

These cameras do not have a uniform orientation (some look inbound, others look outbound, some change orientation from time to time). The table Traffic Camera Attributes describes the camera orientation and any other noteworthy attributes of each feed.
