This document concludes with a brief discussion of an experimental implementation of sparse matrix algorithms in a highly cached database environment. It was written as part of the documentation of an experimental project, from a bygone era, which proceeded along these lines.
The relevance of the material in his section to current readers is debatable since it examines software implementations for machine architectures that are no longer in use (or available). Nonetheless, some aspects of the discussion are still pertinent despite changes in the execution environment. For this reason and for the sake of completeness, it was decided to retain the information in this monograph. Do with it as you like.
